Love your optimism, but that's a very big "just need"! Hope you and all the travellers somehow get to have a happy journey home. 🤞🤞

Harrogate / Crawley / Newport all have games against teams wth nothing to play for on Saturday, whilst we are up against a side at home, looking to seal automatic promotion. Sorry, I just don't see how we get a result there. We can’t defend for 90mins but that’s what we’ll set out to do, it will be like the Alamo. If we do get a chance we must take it.
Put it this way, if we are still in with a chance to take it to the final game at 5pm on Saturday, I’ll be absolutely gobsmacked. I think we all will be.

We were up against a side with nothing to play for on Saturday and got a schooling…

We also defended for 90 mins conceding 0 goals 3 weeks ago against a team fighting for the league title..

I know football throws out results against the odds, but after that Walsall performance, I’ve been drinking from my glass that’s half empty.

Just read Stanway’s comment in the Mail, “the players have to deliver”.
After 44 games and second bottom in the league, I think it’s a bit late to start thinking about it now, what have you been doing all season?

I pray that we don’t just sit back. They think they are going to batter us anyway (just look at their forum) and it really could be curtains closed by Saturday. We must fight.

You would have to say out of us, Crawley, Newport and Harrogate for this weekends fixtures we are the most likely to get 0 points from it. Just have to hope we at least match Harrogate and Newport don’t win to give us a shot on the final Saturday. But after the Walsall no show I have to say I think we will go down this season. Who knows when/if we will ever get back again. Big overhaul of the club from top to bottom required.

I’ve just watched Foley’s pre match. Sorry if that’s supposed to be a relegation scrap battle cry we are as good as gone. Talking like it’s a mid table dead rubber. FFS where is the fighting talk.

We haven't had a Manager since Macdonald left ,we appointed Dino should have stuck with him but once again the players got their way !
Foley nice guy but he's nowhere near a Manager not his fault though!
January killed us we had one last get out of jail card but blew it!
I feel at present as if I've had any optimism sucked out of me , if we go down surely we're not just going to appoint Coglan without checking out other possible candidates??

Agree, and I’m not knocking Foley, he’s landed a terrible position but I don’t sense anything in that pre match that gives me any real belief that we can get a win. Not after that Walsall no show.

Of all the decisions and subsequent ramifications this season, the farcical turnover of managers/coaches has been the most damaging. It branded the club a joke outfit and look where all that churn has ultimately gotten us.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Where’s the fight in the tone, in the messge. We are fighting to stay in the football league. We’ve got to believe we can do it. Etc.
