Rochdale scored all 3 penalties.
Boreham Wood missed 3.
On the day, cruel on Boreham Wood.
Over the season, justice was done.

Thank god, proper club Rochdale and deserve to go back, Borehamwood just wouldn't feel right in the EFL.

Fair given how many more points both York and Rochdale had, and how close they came on the final day. Also, arguably, a stronger team going up so better for us next season. On the down side, another massive away trek!

Aye over the season the team that deserved it most got their reward. Pleased for Jason Taylor, we lost a decent fixture though.

That’s tough to take for Boreham Wood. They couldn’t have been any closer to promotion. Football as we all know can kick you where it hurts.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

I really wanted Jason Taylor in when Whing left. Who knows if he would’ve come. If he had, who knows what he would’ve done. Maybe our paths will cross again one day. Maybe sooner than you’d think…
Rochdale a stronger side over the season, so glad they went up. However, financially, and less to travel, Rochdale would’ve been better for us next season.
