Re: Adam Murray
Excellent interview, but the first one always is.
Good to hear that he’s going to have discussions with existing players.
Good to hear that there will be players coming in.
Good to hear he will be bring in a lot of his own staff
Good to hear he plays a high press.
Good to hear that he’s very ambitious

He has moved to clubs within a short period .standishbluebird wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2026 7:17 am Sounds like there’s been some proper money thrown at this appointment, and that seems to be borne out by what the Kiddie chairman had to say on Murray’s departure. Still, shows a bit of ambition on our part and, indeed, on his.
On Kidderminster forum they say it's took just over a year from him to move on from Eastbourne to Kidderminster and then onto Barrow.
Not listened to his interview the number of people who talk a good job and fail.
I suggested we may sign him as I looked at his record.
Last three clubs 50% win rate.
Plus the statement he put out before leaving Kidderminster .
It was like my ex brother in law with his wives its not working then he jumped ship 5 times!!!!
I thought he had been at Carlisle did not realise he was at Barrow being offered non contract.
So he followed the money
What sticks out is he is driven and if we get promoted he will be wanted by other clubs like Evatt.
If we are to get back in the EFL it's got to be this season and no play offs.

Re: Adam Murray
Sounds a million miles from the last 2 seasons of managers too worried about the opposition rather than giving them something to fear. Bring it on get some players in. Season tickets on sale and get abit of a buzz backtheotherbarrow wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2026 9:21 am Seems like he's not afraid to 'Go For It'

Re: Adam Murray
Very positive guy.
He wants good players with good personalities who get on with each other. Always a good recipe for success and sounds like he will be bringing in both players and coaches etc from Kidderminster who know the way he works and what he wants.
An excellent appointment.

Glenn Murray left us to go to Carlisle having been on non contract here not Adam
Re: Adam Murray
It was interesting to hear that he knows there are some very good players here who want to do well, backing up what the Owners said before Christmas.
