Tells us anything from your predictions for the season, can Wyll Stanway play up front, the state of the pop side bogs or how many slices of toast you think Innes Cameron has with his breakfast. Anything goes and we’ll pick the best selection of brain wrongs (or rights) for publication.

When we started this fanzine, it was just a labour of love, a way to channel our passion for the game and give voice to the fans who live and breathe football week in, week out. To now be recognised by the Football Supporters' Association alongside some of the most respected and beloved fanzines in the country is genuinely surreal and incredibly humbling.

This nomination belongs to everyone who has supported Give 'Em Beans! from day one. To our brilliant contributors who share their insights, stories, and creativity. To our readers who buy every issue, share our content, and engage with our community. To everyone who has ever stopped us at a match to say they enjoyed something we published, this is YOUR achievement as much as ours.

Dear Beans,

Great to read that the literature you produce is reaching the acclaim it duly deserves, well done to all.

PS; There is a cost of living crisis and hard times for many of your readers, not to mention the poorly paid BAE attendees. Please reconsider the gargantuan price increase at least until after November’s budget or I shall be forced to contact my local MP.

On Saturday 6th December, Barrow heads to Wigan for the FA Cup. 50 years ago, Barrovians were making the same journey – but they weren't looking for three points. They were heading to Wigan Casino.

Our latest piece for Give 'em Beans! Jonny tells the story of Barrow's incredible Northern Soul scene – from the 8:50 train packed with soul fans, to a Barrow band who unknowingly became a Casino classic, to the scene that's still going strong today.
