Newby, earing, Shipley, McCann and fletcher. Wouldn’t say all have been shipped out as some probably wanted, had the opportunity to remain in the league

Wasn’t Ian Evatts title winning formation 3-4-1-2 ?
You're a piece of work, yeah at times it was that but most team's played like that, there's been a radical change in how team's play now ,hence we still played that way and not just because we had no right back but it didn't make sense because of this and we paid the ultimate price and got relegated!
Anyway carry on points scoring and perhaps one day you might actually contribute with an idea instead of constantly trying to catch people out !
You're one of these people who come on here but haven't got the guts to actually go to a meeting and challenge people, you critised Paul Hornby but I didn't see anyone say it to his face ( quite rightly)!
It’s forum Nige where you are free to voice your opinion. One thing I don’t do it stoop to personal abuse of forum members. Calling me “ a piece of work” is just that imo

Why ???? Can’t tackle can’t head a ball scores minimal goals and misses sitters. The oppositions name escapes me but he couldn’t hit the target with the goal wide open towards the end of a game at home at the back end of last season. Murray’s mantra appears to be big strong athlete type players and Newby isn’t any of those
Harrogate at home...

Have to agree with the rest. In truth he was never good enough for league 2 but being part of a good squad initially he got away with it and wasn't targeted as much. I think part of the problem is he's never established himself in one position he's played upfront, wide left/right, wing back even centre mid under Maamria, and hasn't been particularly great anywhere. Workrate is good yes but that should be a given, end product is lacking and can't defend. We needed better last season and we need better now.
Give me Patrick Brough back at left wing back any day and Whitfield as a winger is streets ahead of him when fit.

Shipley was dreadful yes he tried and got stuck in but an absolute bomb scare, Salford away their first goal criminal defending. He's almost as bad as Joe Anderson who for me is the worst player I've seen for some time here. We need way better than this if we're even going to think about getting back to the football league.

Obviously some you'd rather see the back of than others but I can't say I'd be devastated to see anyone depart.

Bit gutted about mccann and fletcher. Both I would class as being some of our better players and we are definitely weaker without them. We really need to get this window right

Fletcher showed glimpses but is another who seemed a bit injury prone struggled for fitness and looked like he was running in treacle at times, lacked the pace which Adam Murray seems to want and which we need. Wouldn’t be against him staying but as with the rest I’m not too bothered he’s maybe going. McCann is a very clever player but again you can probably see why he’s gone from rangers to two national league clubs not wanting him but technically probably the best player we have.

We are not going to keep the likes of McCann and Fletcher this is the reality of relegation. An EFL club comes calling who can at least match our wages and they are gone. Just remember all the squad has taken a hit in their pockets because of our relegation clause.

I don't think players from relegated L2 teams are the top of current L2 teams wish list .. If Murray wants to keep them, any club wanting them will have to make a bid.. The only way I see them leaving is if they don't fit Murrays plans and he let's them go on a free

Understand that Shrewsbury Town are set to sign Barrow midfielder Isaac Fletcher after activating the 24 year olds release clause following the Cumbrian side’s relegation to the National League. Accrington and Rochdale were also keen on the midfielder.

What’s our transfer record? I bet his release clause breaks it
