Barrow’s next manager

Don't know who it will be, but from the names mentioned, and as a lifelong Evertonian (BAFC ST holder for many years, don't worry) I would love it to be Leighton Baines. The man oozes loyalty and class. He's ready for his first managerial post IMO.

Whoever it is doesn’t need to be better than PW. He was probably good enough. We need someone who is as good as Wild but with fewer of his weaknesses.

Agreed that Wild blew it in his last few games, but perhaps the DOF was having a negative influence on Wild at that stage, or Wild knew what was coming and didn't like it, and lost his way a bit.

TBF Wild was hired as a manager, not a manager who would be asked to relinquish part of that role to a DOF. Despite not finishing in the play-off positions this year Wild gave us two of the best seasons the club has had for a while and should have been allowed to continue.

Have sympathy with this. 'In the building' is another one that irritates.

SB, at a time such as this – the pre-electoral period – would the term "kind MP" represent the ultimate oxymoron? Words such as devious, treacherous, dishonest, along with something such as "say-anything-to win-your-vote", seem to be more appropriate as accompaniments to the term "MP". I'm sure our poster Mister Pleasant is none of these things but your use of the shorthand of "MP" had me thinking about something completely different. But if "kind MP" is a highly oxymoronic idea at this particular time, the term "moronic MP" would surely not be oxymoronic in the slightest. (I am aware I am going off-topic here but that's fitting as that's what they resort to when they want to avoid answering a question).
