Good to watch. It's film from another age - teams running out instead of walking in two rows to line up in front of the stand. What was the occasion - it looks like we won?

FA Cup - we played Wigan in the next round and got walloped. They had the glamour of the ‘Three Amigos’ (Martinez, Diaz, Seba) but the bloke who did the damage was Tony Black who was born in Barrow.

Cant find anything on the Tarrant goal- we didn’t really film games back then and surprised to see that one from 95 exists. A different era indeed. When whistling and expletives aimed at the ref to blow for full time began in earnest on 85 minutes.

I see those were the days of full-length slides before knee-slides became the thing to do. I could have cheated and looked up the records but instead I decided to have a go at naming our 1-11 that started that 1995 match. I haven't watched it all through yet and it's definitely blurred but here's my stab at our line-up from 1 through to 11:

As mentioned above, I had a go off the top of my head without looking at the Michael Gardner book, "The Definitive Barrow AFC", but now having checked it I reckon I get 9 out of 11 . . . . . or 8.5 out of 11 if I am deducted half a point for pluralising little Ashley. Well done those above, number 5 was indeed Jeff Parker and number 7 was Stuart Todhunter. It seems that Eddie Kennedy was on the bench but I don't know if he got on to play (as I haven't watched it all the way through yet).
