Yeah the first season we all forgot that we were still in the football league, We must of gone to carlisle instead or am i dreaming that we have only been in this league for only 2 seasons now? Last year the game was live on tv on a week night hardly a crowd puller. We will see how many we will take when we are within touching distance of the top of the league.boyliegladbach wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 1:17 pmMust have all got lost on the way to barrow for the last 2 seasons.monkeyhanger08 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 10:28 am Pools have always had big away support for a smallish club

He is borrowing John Little's Grim Reaper outfit Whitty. Can't have him acting out of character.

In addition to the club's newly introduced policy on swords (must be a first, that one!), perhaps we should play some music to welcome the Hartlepool supporters. Tenpole Tudor's Swords of a Thousand Men, perhaps? Or the Moody Blues' Knights in White Satin (showing my age there!)? Arabian Knights from Siouxsie and the Banshees a possibility. There must be a lot more out there.
Re: Hartlepool fancy dress last home game
The sword policy could lead to some national publicity for the match.

Programme cover now, The Battle of fortress Holker Street. Am I the only one who thinks this is getting a bit cringey. I don’t get the total fascination with it all.

I get it that it’s their tradition but we’ve really lapped it up. Fortress HS, FFS Walking out to Tenpole Tudor is almost guaranteed.

I agree but if it makes us a load of money I couldn’t really care less. Those programmes will sell out

Agree. Fill the ground, sell all the programmes, drink all the bars dry, eat all the pies, sell all the raffle tickets.HenneysKnee wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 6:57 amI agree but if it makes us a load of money I couldn’t really care less. Those programmes will sell out
