Surely saying knitting is sexist is, in itself, a sexist remark? Gender stereotype?

Now can everyone please stop bickering
Some people really do need to think a bit more before they post things on here

7 years ago yeah it's really caught on Steve!
Re: Sack Dunn
People are looking forward to standing on the terraces again, with the attitude of, 'Now I'm here' to give them encouragement, we'll be ok. For gods sake, what more evidence, what more proof do you need-the club is on its way down!. Two wins is just not good enough.

Re: Sack Dunn
No point in bickering because its pointless, doesn't resolve the issue and doesn't even take matters forward. It leads to personal abuse both of people at the club and this translates into abuse of one poster by another.Stephen Leonard wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 6:40 pmhttps://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.stan ... html%3famp

HOWEVER - please dont feel bad about being critical. That's part of what a forum is for. Not just to sing the praises of a club when its doing well but as an outlet for disappointment when it isn't.
In this respect, the title of this thread is itself inflammatory because its reflects the views of somebody who's made up their mind and is challenging others to disagree. However the subject itself is very valid and has a thread of its own anyway. The mods do have the ability to lock this thread on the grounds of duplication.
Re: Sack Dunn
Good observation and yes he does come deep and busts a gut no doubt about it, but this sometimes leads him to taking on a very difficult chance under challenges. We need someone in the box at the right time scoring with one touch from 6 yards. Whether its Quigley or Angus, James It doesn't matter, but at the moment there are too many decent balls coming into the box only and players arriving a yard too late. See it every game. Where are the taps ins.Hadrian wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 5:40 pmThat's the way Quigley plays. He isn't a target man, he comes deep, he roams, he's all over the place trying to find an opportunity to burst clear, a real handful for defences.russell_anderson wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 2:08 pm This season we are all over the place with forwards ending up in midfield like Reid did at times last night, Quigley has done in at least one home match and James often does.
In what little we have seen of him this season, he has played in much the same way as last.

Re: Sack Dunn
Well I saw him live in over a dozen away games last season and I didn't see him come deep in any of them. Went wide quite a lot but hardly ever further back than the halfway line. In one game at Holker Street this season he was bringing the ball forward from halfway inside his own half!Hadrian wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 5:40 pmThat's the way Quigley plays. Re: Sack Dunn
The only one I can think of is James Jones and, of course, he's been out for a long time. I also can't remember if we signed him before David Dunn took over.
Re: Sack Dunn
Luke James is doing ok...
Re: Sack Dunn
I wonder what its going to be like post match on Saturday.
Red card.
Bad back pass.
No midfield.
If only he had passed to....
The referee
Three at the back or
just unlucky?.

You tell us.
You are more negative and uninspiring than David Dunn has ever been.
God help us if you had any involvement with the club.

Re: Sack Dunn
All these keyboard managers think they know best makes me laugh just support the team in a positive way and we will be fine.
If you criticize all the time it will play on their minds everyone needs encouraging not criticizing.
Just think for a moment how you would feel yourself.
Now come on get behind the lads and let's move up that table this team is good enough.

If players are evaluating there performance-based off an internet forum, or getting hung up about it, then they should give their heads a wobble.cottingham bluebird wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 2:00 pm All these keyboard managers think they know best makes me laugh just support the team in a positive way and we will be fine.

This is a place for debate. I never understand why people want everyone to be sunshine and rainbows with monolithic viewpoints about how good we are.
And on the 7th day god created football
