Got man of the match by a country mile. Lucky not to be sent off but that could show his grit and determination. Brilliant play from a 35 year old.

Taylor shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting 11 now. Far too slow.

He gets stuck in and clears a ball, he’s a leader. Old head and all that. Still half a yard slower then everyone else on the pitch. Luckily Coopers tactics paid off tonight but you couldn’t play Taylor all the time. .
Luke James gives 100% and never stops running but you just know he’s never going to score . I wouldn’t have had him in the starting 11 either. Beadling was my man of the match.

Something had to change after last couple of results and he shook it up defensively and full credit to management and the players for the way we managed this game. As a team defensive unit we were as solid as we have been all season. A couple of miscommunications at the back 1st half but we dealt with it comfortably and totally nullified any threat from Northampton. There was no looking at each other to do the dirty work- just solid commitment to win each ball. Taylor showing how its done out there- Non stop communication and everyone grafting hard for 98 minutes.
Result and performance of the season for me and this squad has surely got the spirit and quality to keep improving. .

Brilliant result and yes both Taylor & Brown had great games, credit to both, agree about Beadling best game in a Barrow shirt, hopefully Amadi-Holloway is ok for Saturday, the win was like the Oldham game last season when Kelly brought back Jason Taylor really held the side together, we move on to Saturday now lets hope not to many knocks tonight, Canavan should start but if Cooper goes with the same line-up so be it. The Ref liked booking our players but wasn`t the worse this season, Well done lads and up the Bluebirds.

We really needed that ...and the team that was fielded had exactly the qualities we required at this juncture ...determination , organisation , tenacity ...and no little amount of skill and experience.

A brilliant result against a team that looked nothing like promotion challengers - largely due to our efforts and the manager's tactics . Well done to all concerned ( including the directors for funding some of the 'new blood' that we were crying out for ... ) ...Let's use this as a starting point to build up our season ...and see where we end up ... Of course, I'm not saying we will go up this season ... but a few more performances , and results , like that and we will certainly give ourselves a chance of being in the mix next season .

Quite a number of stoppages for both sides when trainers had to come on. Also some refs/4th officials add on 30 seconds for each sub. Before it was announced I guessed it might be 7 so think it was fair.

Very much in awe of the 151 supporters that were there. Having been to three away games this year, I’ve an idea about the commitment required. I’m certain that the players and the management appreciate it massively.

One of the main differences tonight was the way Barrow played.
None of this Platt to Jones, Jones back to Platt, Platt to Brough, Brough to Platt, Platt to Jones again, Jones back to Platt, Platt to Brough etc.
The team tried moving the ball forward for a change.
